Feeling like January, at least for one day.
A departing cold front triggers scattered morning showers & mountain snow. Showers are expected to taper off after 9-10 AM for much of Southern Arizona, followed by mostly cloudy skies. Afternoon highs peak in the upper 50s to low 60s, running 5° below normal.
High pressure building off the Baja coast drives a strong warming trend for the weekend. Daytime highs reach the upper 70s starting Friday. Saturday’s forecast high of 78° would tie the record set back in 2006. The 70s and sunshine sticks around through early next week.
