For the first time since February 10th, Tucson reaches the low 80s.
High pressure anchored west of the state looks to be the dominant weather feature for the week. A southwesterly flow aloft carries in partly to mostly cloudy skies through Saturday. Daytime highs peak in the upper 70s to low 80s, running 5-10° above average for this time of year.
Overnight lows the next several nights bottom out in the upper 40s to low 50s.
The only change to the forecast arrives late Saturday night into early Sunday. A weak storm system passes through the state, possibly producing an isolated shower. Metro Tucson stands a 20% chance of rain, but the better chance of showers appears to be in the higher terrain northeast of the Old Pueblo.
