Tuesday’s Tucson Forecast: Sunshine in a landslide

80s for Election Day in the Old Pueblo.

Thanks to high pressure off the California and Baja coast, temperatures this afternoon run 5-7° above average for early November. Sunshine reigns supreme, giving way to clear skies tonight. Lows bottom out in the mid 50s.

Expect another day in the 80s tomorrow before a slight cool-down commences. A weak storm system settles in starting Thursday, shaving a few degrees off daytime highs. Afternoon temps top out in the mid to upper 70s Thursday into the weekend.

Long range models hint at the dry stretch of weather continuing well into next week.
