Last call for the low 80s.
High pressure begins losing control of Arizona’s weather over the next 24 hours. Metro Tucson sees highs run 4-6° above average under sunny skies. Expect upper 70s to low 80s for the lower elevations of eastern Pima County this afternoon.
A moisture-starved storm system swings in from the Pacific Northwest to wrap the week. As a result, daytime highs drop to the mid to upper 70s. These temps are typical for early November standards.
Gusty east winds are also possible Friday & the first half of Saturday. Breezes may approach 20 MPH in some spots, dialing down Saturday afternoon.
Models indicate the 70s sticking around for the upcoming work week. Overnight lows Sunday and Monday bottom out in the mid 40s.
