Thursday’s Tucson Forecast: Pattern trending drier…and warmer

The 70s return to the Old Pueblo.

Mostly sunny skies reign supreme this afternoon as highs run 3-5° above average. Overnight lows bottom out in the mid 40s, thanks to partly cloudy skies.

Friday features a storm system swinging through the northern portion of the state. Because of this northerly trend, isolated showers should be confined to Pinal, Graham and Greenlee Counties.

Expect mostly sunny skies tomorrow in the Old Pueblo with highs peaking in the mid 60s.

Those with outdoor plans this weekend are in luck. Ample sunshine is in the forecast. Daytime highs range from the mid 60s Saturday to the mid 70s Sunday.

Plenty of sunshine holds serve for the first part of the upcoming week. Temperatures drop from the low 70s Monday to the low 60s Tuesday as a weak storm system clips the state.
